Abstract
This talk starts with an introduction of the newly established DARPA Brandeis program that deals with privacy-preserving computation over
Internet. Under this program, we, a research team at Iowa State University and Princeton University, are looking into preserve privacy in the
systems with mobile devices and cloud servers that employ machine learning techniques in their applications. After a brief introduction of this
newly funded 4.5 years project, we will explain the research environment and expectations for the faculty, students and postdoctoral fellows who are
interested in joining this exciting opportunity in the US. We then entertain questions and comments.
