Abstract
Many have consider the question: how can Taiwan benefit from, and contribute to, the growth of Internet of Things (IoT)? Most of the suggestions fall into two categories: (a) manufacture the “Things” in IoT, and (b) provide services that are enabled or transformed by IoT. In this talk I would like to explore the second of these categories. In particular, I would like to suggest that we examine two questions: (1) what is an appropriate model for services that would best show the potential impact of Internet on them, and (2) how does the addition of “things” to Internet change how the services might be provided?
