Abstract
This talk will give an introduction to the GNU Name System (GNS). GNS is a decentralized and censorship-resistant domain name resolution protocol that provides a privacy-enhancing alternative to the Domain Name System (DNS) protocols.
We will explain the name resolution process and cryptographic operations for achieving privacy. A special focus will be on the set reconciliation protocol used to facilitate secure and efficient key revocation.
