摘要
In the semiconductor manufacturing industry, preventive maintenance is important to maintain high yield rates. However, preventive maintenance requires stopping a machine, which may delay the production process. Finding a good schedule for preventive maintenance is thus a challenging optimization task. In this talk, we will share our experience in this subject. The focus will be on the construction of an optimization problem that is computationally feasible and realistic enough. Results we obtained together with an industry collaborator will also be shared.
